John McLaughlin Williams Interview

September 22nd, 2009

My friend and colleague John McLaughlin Williams has an interview on the AfricClassical blog about his life and his experience working on the Quincy Porter Complete Viola Works recording. He’s a fascinating man with a great interest in all things musical. I didn’t realize how many instruments he has played!

  1. eleisha,
just read the l.a. times review!
you rock!!!! have you let peggy swartz know about it?

would you contact me re: a former east cleveland violin student?
he’s now 14, at school of the arts, and at the end of suzuki book 4.
needs a teacher desperately, and would love to play viola…

    thanks, eleisha
